This time we selected a director room with city view, we stayed in room 702, it had wonderful views and a dining table surrounded by windows. We also chose to include breakfast, which I would also recommend considering. We have stayed in hotels in "new town" before also, but it wasn't the same. Different atmosphere and not as walkable. Staff are extremely helpful."Reviewed November 6, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YTO) - Edinburgh (EDI)YYZ - EDI • 1 stop EDI - YYZ • 1 stopCA $3,306CA $2,464found 1 day agoper traveller - Stay Central

The room was well appointed although very small. Our room was not ready at check-in time which I find unacceptable for a highly rated and relatively expensive hotel. Also, the room was not cleaned until about 5pm which was a bit disruptive to our day. I would stay here again for a night or two but not longer."Reviewed November 5, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YTO) - Edinburgh (EDI)YYZ - EDI • 1 stop EDI - YYZ • 1 stopCA $3,007CA $2,427found 1 day agoper traveller

Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, except for a very disturbing incident that happened shortly before checkout, at around 10 a.m. The cleaner came to my room twice. The first time, he opened the door and walked in. I immediately told him to leave. A little while later, he came into my room again. I told him three times not to enter, but he ignored me and insisted on coming in anyway. After seeing me naked, he left the door open and did not leave the room. Instead, he stood there staring at...
